Forklift Operator 2nd Shift

Forklift OperatorThe Royal Group, a subsidiary of Schwarz Partners, is currently seeking a Forklift Operator to support our Addison, IL facility. The Forklift Operator is responsible for all activities associated with running the machine including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommendation of improvements. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The Royal Group's mission is to provide value-added solutions to the most demanding customers.Essential Job Functions for this Position:Process orders in the Company system (Amtech and Commerce) entering accurately order numbers, quantity, and destination.Print out shipping documents, verifying special shipping instructions and shipping chargesMaintains healthy inventory levels of shipping materials and suppliesPerforms all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods on stockSupports the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer baseResponsible for unloading work in Process Sheets, storing or feeding product into the machineCollaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow of the plantFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environmentMaintain regular and predictable attendanceOther duties as assigned to business demandsOther Significant Job Functions Include:Time ManagementCommunication ProficiencyTechnical Capacity - strong computer skillsOrganizational SkillsRequired Education / Experience:Minimum of a high school educationOne year of manufactory-related experience in shipping and receivingHigh School diploma or GEDPreferred Education / Experience:Professional Certificate or some college education in a related fieldExperience in shipping and receiving in a packaging industryExperience with Amtech and CommerceRequired Skills (Technical, Clerical, Language, etc.):Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple mathA valid forklift truck operator certificationKnowledge of warehouse software programsPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
