Transactional Senior Associate / Counsel – Austin, TX

A highly regarded, Chambers-recognized firm with a strong national presence is seeking a mid-to-senior level transactional attorney to join its Austin office.

This is a high-impact role working directly with a senior partner on sophisticated deal work, with the opportunity to meaningfully reduce partner workload and take on significant responsibility early.

The Role

• Focus on complex transactional work , including M&A and general corporate matters
• Direct access to senior leadership and meaningful client exposure
• Flexible structure: Senior Associate (partnership track) or Counsel / Non-Equity Partner
• Oil & gas experience preferred but not required

Ideal Candidate

• 8+ years of experience in corporate / transactional practice
• Strong background in M&A and sophisticated deal work
• Able to step in immediately
• Fast learner with strong work ethic and attention to detail
