Our Mission, Vision, and Values guide the way we do business.Are you ready for your next challenge?As a Manufacturing Engineering, you will support manufacturing processes within Defense Maritime Business Area programs by helping improve safety, quality, efficiency, and manufacturability. Responsibilities may include assisting with work instructions, tooling, production documentation, engineering drawings, and troubleshooting production issues. You will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Planning & Production Control, Quality, and Operations teams in a defense manufacturing environment.THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)Provides manufacturing support for complex, high-reliability ocean hardware/software systems within an ISO 90001 environment.Satisfies customer requirements with innovative, cost-effective, reliable solutions that appropriately leverage advanced technologies and are suitable for production in support of a Navy Program.WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial/Systems, or Aerospace Engineering and less than 2 years prior relevant experienceKnowledge, training, and experience for most of the primary responsibilities definedA passion for lean enterpriseA background in traditional manufacturing process tools including Costpoint and/or Solumina or other ERP and MES applicationsRequires in depth working knowledge of manufacturing engineering concepts and principlesProficient using Microsoft Vizio and Power PointMust have excellent written communication and visual presentation skills, and the ability to analyze, evaluate and develop solutions to technical problemsAbility to work productively and cooperatively within a concurrent engineering environmentBackground in ISO 9001 StandardMust possess an active SECRET Security clearance or the ability to get a clearancePreferred QualificationsExperience with Windchill PLM systemExperience with Deltek Costpoint ERP systemExperience with Solumina MESPast participation in a Lean Transformation initiativeMastery of all the primary responsibilities definedBackground in AS 9100 StandardProficiency in all MS Office applicationsProficiency in Power BIIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
