Catskill Veterinary Services is seeking a full-time General Practice Veterinarian to join our growing team. We are specifically encouraging Class of 2026, and 2027 Graduates to apply. You will build long-term relationships with clients in our Primary Care service at our Rock Hill and Middletown locations, while having immediate access to our Emergency and Advanced Care teams for your complex cases. ABOUT CATSKILL VETERINARY SERVICES We are the primary hub for veterinary care in Sullivan County, the Hudson Valley, and beyond. We are a "Full Scope" network designed to support the patient at every stage of life. Our Network: Your General Practice home base will be in Rock Hill or Middletown, where we focus on comprehensive wellness and primary care. We also operate a location in Newburgh focused on Emergency & Advanced Care, giving you a robust internal referral network. The "Full Scope" Safety Net: One of the scariest things for a new GP is a crashing patient. Here, you have an internal ER team to back you up. If your wellness exam reveals a surgical emergency, you have the support to handle it or transfer it internally. Honoring the Bond: General Practice is where the Human-Animal Bond is built. YOUR ROLE: GP WITH A SAFETY NET We actively encourage learning, asking questions, and a collaborative experience. The Caseload: You will manage preventative care, dermatology, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine. The Culture: We will meet you with the energy and drive you bring to the table. If you want to become a dentistry wizard or an ultrasound pro, we will provide the resources to get you there. Safe to Ask: We foster a culture where "I don't know, can you help me?" is a strength. You will never be judged for consulting with a colleague.

THE "DREAM TEAM" SUPPORT SYSTEM Focus on being a Doctor. We'll handle the rest. New grads often burn out because they are doing tech work. Not here. Licensed & Capable: You will be supported by Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) and highly experienced assistants. They draw the blood, place the catheters, and induce anesthesia so you can focus on the medicine and the client. Floor-Savvy Management: Our management team comes from the floor. They know how to manage a schedule to keep the day running smoothly and protect your workflow.

WHAT YOU NEED TO EXCEL DVM/VMD Degree: Required (or upcoming graduation in 2026 or 2027). NYS License: Current license (or ability to obtain one). Ambition & Attitude: A desire to learn and grow.
