Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced  Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract. The candidate will assist in a variety of surgical procedures while ensuring a sterile and safe operating environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical field
• Assist surgeons during procedures
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies
• Ensure patient safety and proper OR protocols
• Support multiple specialties based on case load

• Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program
• BLS (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Iowa mandatory reporter training
• Must stay within 30 minutes of facility (on-call requirement)
• Certification preferred
