Dermatologist Clinician Educator - Full-Time Faculty-Mohs Surgery (, PA, United States)

Position Summary

The Department of Dermatology seeks academic-minded dermatologists and dermatopathologists to join our full‑time faculty as Assistant Professors. Board‑certified and board‑eligible physicians with strong interests in dermatology specialties are encouraged to apply.

Clinical Services

Our department serves a diverse, medically complex population within the greater Pittsburgh area and attracts patients from across Pennsylvania and the tri‑state area. We operate seven clinics providing the following services:

• General dermatology
• Phototherapy
• Laser therapy
• Mohs micrographic surgery
• Aesthetic services
• Inpatient consultations

Dermatopathology Unit

The dermatopathology unit is located on our Oakland campus and currently has four full‑time dermatopathologists and two fellows. A teledermatology program offers synchronous and asynchronous care statewide, supporting inpatient consults and in‑office e‑consults with community physicians.

Research Opportunities

Faculty have access to extensive clinical research and collaboration with clinical and basic science colleagues on campus, supporting those with a research interest.
