Job Details Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry / Tele RN Job Title: Registered Nurse – Cardiac Telemetry Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan Healthcare Setting: 54-bed cardiovascular telemetry unit Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Schedule: 3 shifts per week; every other weekend required Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Floating: May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate locations based on census and volume Charting System: Cerner PowerChart Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,770 - $1,870 Job Requirements Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of assignment, or license pending; willingness to participate in the Aya licensure project Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience Cardiac telemetry experience preferred or required Experience managing patient ratios of approximately 1:5-7 ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required Cerner experience required Comfortable caring for adult and geriatric cardiac patients Ability to work in a high-acuity telemetry and cardiovascular nursing environment Willingness to work every other weekend and 2 of 3 holidays Ability to float as needed within the facility or nearby affiliates Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry and cardiovascular patients Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Care for patients with CHF, STEMI/NSTEMI, stroke, arrhythmias, chest pain, and overflow medical diagnoses Administer and monitor cardiac drips and related therapies per unit standards Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective patient care Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in Cerner PowerChart Support a patient-centered environment while maintaining strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills Adapt to changing unit needs, including floating assignments when required Apply now to join this travel RN cardiac telemetry opportunity in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and take the next step in your healthcare career.
