Receiving Inspector

Mechanical Inspector Function: Perform a wide variety of mechanical/visual inspections on incoming purchased parts and/or assemblies, in-process and finished parts, first article inspections on machined purchased parts in-house and/or at vendor facilities when required. Essential Job Functions: Inspect incoming hardware utilizing TIPQA software inspection plans. Work from approved inspection plans, engineering drawings, purchase orders, operation sheets and specifications. Use a variety of precision measuring instruments to verify compliance on dimensions, angles, radii, contours, holes, surface finishes, concentricity, hardness, material and plating. Required Skills: Minimum 3-5 years experience with the inspection of aircraft components. Must be able to inspect all of the above mentioned dimensions. C.M.M. experience preferred, but not required. Education: High School Diploma required. College degree preferred.
