Speech Language Pathologist - Full-time

Overview Missouri Baptist Medical Center is an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offering a full continuum of medical and surgical services including heart care, cancer, women's and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound, and pain management services. The hospital has a 24‑hour adult emergency department and a pediatric emergency department in collaboration with St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Missouri Baptist is the first and only Magnet hospital in St. Louis County and has been ranked #2 in the St. Louis metro area by U.S. News & World Report. Schedule Mon – Fri 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM 1 weekend every 7‑8 weeks; on call for NPO patient visits Responsibilities Establish treatment plans and provide therapy, considering discharge needs and functional status. Educate, collaborate with, and conference with patients, families, and other health‑care providers; recommend referrals to specialists as needed. Delegate tasks to assistants, technicians, and students through written and verbal communication, determining skill levels required to best meet patient needs. Complete documentation in accordance with departmental policies. Provide assessment, reassessment, and/or consultations for Speech Services.
