Join a dynamic and collaborative team as a Site MEP Technical Coordinator, where you will play a key role in bridging owner project requirements with onsite activities and commissioning. This position offers the opportunity to lead documentation, quality verification, and cross-trade communication on complex construction projects, with a focus on electrical systems and basic mechanical/controls interfaces. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate installation methods to align with project design requirements, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for owner representatives, subcontractors, field service representatives, and commissioning agents to facilitate issue resolution and maintain project schedules.
- Drive commissioning readiness, including pre-functional checks and load-soak preparation, while maintaining structured and accurate reporting.
- Lead field documentation efforts using Procore, managing punch lists, pre-task plan verifications, and safety walkdowns (including LOTO and PPE compliance).
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including photos, checklists, and punch items, and communicate project status and risks to leadership and clients.
- Act as the onsite point-of-contact in the absence of project leadership, escalating issues as needed to keep the project on track.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting support across electrical and basic mechanical/controls systems as required.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of construction experience, with a preference for electrical systems.
- Completion of 2 years of trade school, college, or equivalent journeyman experience.
- Proficiency in Procore and Adobe/PDF editing tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
- Working knowledge of ATS, UPS, and switchgear systems, with exposure to commissioning and EPMS/SCADA concepts.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within North America as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Preferred: OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, and First Aid/CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire
