Nashville, TN (Office in Hendersonville, TN) | Full-Time Role (Benefits, PTO)

We are partnered with a locally owned electrical contractor based in Hendersonville, TN, serving residential and commercial customers throughout Middle Tennessee. Their work is primarily production and multifamily new construction bid work for builders and general contractors, along with tenant build-outs, service work, and electrical upgrades.

We are looking for an Electrical Estimator to help prepare accurate estimates and bids for electrical projects, with a focus on production and multifamily new construction.

We're open to candidates coming from different backgrounds within the electrical industry. Experience as an Electrical Estimator, Project Manager, Electrical Foreman, Superintendent, or experienced Lead Electrician can all provide a strong foundation for this role. Candidates who are earlier in their estimating career but have strong electrical experience are encouraged to apply.

The right candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical systems and construction, be comfortable reviewing plans and scopes of work, and be able to translate project requirements into accurate material, labor, and pricing estimates.

What You'll Do

• Prepare estimates and bids for electrical projects
• Review electrical drawings, plans, specifications, panel schedules, one-line diagrams, and scopes of work
• Perform material takeoffs, including repeatable unit-type takeoffs for multifamily and production builder projects
• Determine labor requirements and develop accurate project pricing
• Track and incorporate bid addenda, RFIs, and plan revisions throughout the bidding process
• Prepare and submit bids to general contractors and builders within bid deadlines
• Obtain and review vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Communicate with customers, general contractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Visit jobsites when needed to understand project requirements
• Assist with change orders, revisions, and updated project pricing
• Work closely with project management and field teams to ensure estimates align with actual project requirements
• Identify potential scope gaps, conflicts, or issues before work begins
• Maintain organized estimating and project documentation

What We're Looking For

• Experience estimating electrical construction or service work
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and construction practices
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Experience with material takeoffs and labor estimates
• Experience with production or multifamily-style estimating (repeat unit types, phased builds, bid deadlines) preferred, but not required for candidates with strong general electrical estimating or field experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines
• Comfortable working with customers, contractors, vendors, and field electricians
• Residential and/or commercial electrical experience preferred
• Experience with estimating/takeoff software (e.g., Accubid, PlanSwift, Stack, Bluebeam) is a plus
