Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:


Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical floor, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal recovery. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient services and maintain clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families about post-discharge care and health management.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, protocols, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in medical-surgical nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of acute care procedures and patient assessment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
