Senior Buyer

Job Purpose:

The Senior Buyer will be responsible for overseeing supply chain sourcing activities, contract execution, ensuring alignment with business strategies, and ensuring internal cross-functional alignment. They will also maintain supplier engagement, ensure contractual requirements are met, lead negotiations, execute contracts; manage terms, conditions, and pricing.

Key Accountabilities:

• Own strategic suppliers and complex commodities
• Develop sourcing strategies
• Lead high-value contract negotiations
• Manage supplier cost, schedule, technical, and compliance performance
• Conduct supplier risk assessments
• Lead supplier recovery plans
• Mentor Level 1-2 Buyers
• Serve as procurement SME for programs

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Supply Chain and/or Technical Field
• 7-10+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, manufacturing, or aerospace experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading supplier negotiations and sourcing initiatives.
• Experience managing complex supplier relationships and commercial agreements.
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, defense, or similarly regulated industries.
• Supply Chain Management
