RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week assignment
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Must be outside a 50-mile radius of facility
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required, trauma level II experience highly preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Work on MAP Unit (Medical and Pediatrics) treating adult patients only
• Treat patients with respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, and infectious diseases
• Typical patient ratios: 1:6-7 on night shifts
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate Degree or Certificate required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Must demonstrate hard work ethic, resilience, ability to manage change, independence, and positive attitude
• Willingness to collaborate with team and ancillary staff required
• Mask requirement during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination
