If so, we want to hear from you!NESCO is looking for a CNC Machinist with experience setting up and operating both manual and CNC machine tools. Our client is looking for YOU!What You’ll DoSet up and operate CNC and manual lathes, mills, boring machines, grinders, and other machining equipment.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T to manufacture precision parts.Select the appropriate CNC programs and machine parts to exact specifications.Perform machine setups, tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.Choose cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for optimal machining performance.Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary machine adjustments.Complete production documentation, inspection records, and job paperwork.Perform minor machine maintenance and identify equipment requiring repair.Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.What We’re Looking For1–3 years of CNC machining experience or equivalent technical training with internship experience.Ability to set up and operate a variety of CNC and manual machine tools.Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.Experience using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.Solid shop math and mechanical aptitude.Comfortable using computers and manufacturing software.Ability to pass a technical machining assessment.Preferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Trade school, machining apprenticeship, or formal technical training preferred.3–5 years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of blueprint reading and advanced shop mathematics.Why Join Our Team?Stable, established manufacturing companyDirect Hire opportunityModern machining environmentOpportunity to expand your machining skillsCollaborative team focused on quality and continuous improvementCompetitive pay and excellent career growth potentialReady to Put Your Skills to Work?If you’re an experienced CNC Machinist who takes pride in producing precision parts and enjoys working in a quality-driven manufacturing environment, we’d love to speak with you.Apply today and take the next step in your machining career!
