Lead Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities
- Lead and assist the maintenance team with daily operations and work orders.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance issues.
- Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
- Ensure vacant units are turned and made ready for new residents.
- Monitor property grounds and common areas to maintain curb appeal and safety standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance situations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and local regulations.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff to promote efficiency and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Previous lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- CPO Certification preferred.
- HVAC Certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods.
