Forklift Operator

Now Hiring Forklift Operator in Manchester, PA

The position requires working outdoors in a lumber yard, similar to environments such as construction sites, roofing tasks, or landscaping jobs. Candidates should be comfortable operating a sit-down propane forklift and be prepared to work in varying weather conditions, including hot summers and cold winters, as well as rain and snow. Proper attire for all weather conditions is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down propane forklift.
• Pick materials such as wood flooring, wood decking materials, and PVC trimming.
• Work off a pick sheet to pick parts and prepare the load on a flatbed truck.
• Move materials, including wood decking materials up to 20 feet long.
• Shovel and plow the yard as needed.

• Experience operating sit-down forklifts.
• Material handling.
• Forklift operation.
• Picking and loading materials.
• General labor skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Sit-Down Forklift experience.

This is a contract to hire position based out of York, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.90 - $20.90/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
