Desired Experience/Qualifications: Valid Special Education Teaching certification Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders and functional communication strategies Familiarity with structured teaching methods and differentiated instruction Collaborative mindset for working with co-teachers, paraprofessionals, and therapists Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Responsibilities Include: Delivering instructional support in a self-contained classroom or co-teaching alongside general educators Creating and maintaining a safe, encouraging classroom environment Managing a caseload of up to 13 students Utilizing evidence-based teaching strategies to address student learning and communication needs Progress monitoring and ongoing documentation in accordance with IEP goals Engaging with families and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s growth This full-time position is an opportunity to work in a supportive, forward-thinking setting that prioritizes both student success and professional collaboration.
