Adelina’s Restaurant & Bar in Chestnut Hill is looking for a friendly, polished, and outgoing Host/Hostess to join our team. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, we’re looking for someone who is welcoming, professional, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable managing reservations, wait times, and guest flow
- Ability to remain calm and professional during busy services
- Comfortable answering phones and assisting with guest inquiries
- Professional and polished appearance
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Evening and weekend availability preferred
- Experience with restaurant reservation systems is a plus
Responsibilities Include:
- Warmly greeting and seating guests
- Managing reservations and the waitlist
- Coordinating table assignments with servers and management
- Answering incoming phone calls and assisting with reservations
- Maintaining an organized and welcoming host stand
- Communicating accurate wait times and accommodating guest requests whenever possible
- Assisting the management and service teams to ensure smooth restaurant operations
