SummaryGeorgia Transformer Corp. is seeking an experienced Production Superintendent to lead daily manufacturing operations within our transformer production facility. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, workforce development, and operational performance while ensuring production schedules and customer commitments are a
chieved.The Production Superintendent will provide leadership to supervisors, leads, and production employees, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, teamwork, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be a hands-on manufacturing leader with a strong background in industrial production envir
onments.

- LeadershipDirect and oversee daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective o
- perations.Drive execution of production schedules while meeting quality, delivery, and productivity o
- bjectives.Ensure effective utilization of labor, materials, equipment, and manufacturing
- resources.Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions to address operational c
hallenges.Workforce
- LeadershipLead, coach, and develop supervisors, team leads, and production
- personnel.Support hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee development in
- itiatives.Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous im
- provement.Address employee concerns and ensure compliance with company policies and p
rocedures.Production Planning & P
- erformanceReview production schedules, staffing plans, inventory requirements, and resource allocation to meet custome
- r demands.Partner with planning, materials, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure production
- readiness.Drive improvements in throughput, labor efficiency, schedule attainment, and First Pass Yi
- eld (FPY).Utilize production metrics and operational reports to identify trends, resolve issues, and improve overall plant pe
rformance.Safety &am

- ificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Operations Management, or a related field
- preferred.5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in a supervisory, superintendent, production manager, or operations manage
- ment role.Experience leading hourly manufacturing teams in an industrial production en
- vironment.Strong knowledge of production planning, workforce management, safety, quality systems, and continuous improvement meth
- odologies.Demonstrated ability to drive operational performance and develop high-perform
- ing teams.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solvi
ng skills.Preferred
- ExperienceElectrical equipment, transformer, switchgear, motor, or industrial manufacturing e
- xperience.Experience in heavy manufacturing, metal fabrication, assembly operations, or engineered-to-order production env
- ironments.Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement e
- xperience.Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting critical infrastructure i
ndustries.
