Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, using a client-centered approach. \n
- Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that reflect their needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals, ensuring a personalized experience. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective client interventions. \n
- Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies. \n
- Monitor client progress by tracking outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance therapeutic benefits. \n
- Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care. \n
- Stay informed on the latest research in mood disorders to continually refine treatment strategies and enhance client outcomes. \n
- Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards. \n
- Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills. \n
- Advocate for clients' rights and mental health awareness, promoting a destigmatized approach to therapy. \n
Your focus will be on individuals navigating complex relational dynamics, particularly in the context of divorce and family communication. You will work with a diverse clientele, including veterans and their families, who may face unique emotional and psychological challenges as they seek to improve their relationships and mental health.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required. \n
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is essential. \n
- Demonstrated ability to build secure and trusting therapeutic relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills. \n
- Exhibit empathy, understanding, and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients' experiences and challenges. \n
- Ability to effectively manage time and organize tasks to ensure an efficient workflow. \n
Experience with specific therapeutic modalities such as structural, strategic, or narrative therapy is highly valued. Familiarity with working with military families or in community health settings will also be advantageous.
