The Restaurant Line Cook plays a crucial role in our kitchen by preparing and cooking menu items efficiently and maintaining a high standard of quality and sanitation. Working independently, the line cook reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and ensures a smooth, timely food production process. This position offers opportunities for growth through cross-training in various roles and requires weekend shifts with no travel obligations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items following recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation of work stations and kitchen equipment
• Set up and stock food stations to ensure smooth service
• Monitor food quality and presentation to meet restaurant standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in food preparation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Food handlers certificate
• Knowledge of food safety practices
