Financial Planner & Analyst Manager

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst The FP&A Analyst supports financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across construction projects and operating units. This role partners with finance, operations and project teams to provide timely, accurate financial insights that drive decision‑making and improve project and company‑level financial performance. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and long‑range financial plans Analyze project financials, including job cost reports, labor productivity, margin performance, and cash flow Support monthly close activities, including variance analysis versus budget and prior periods Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to track KPIs and operational metrics Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to understand financial drivers and risks Leverage data tools, automation, and emerging AI solutions to improve reporting efficiency and forecasting accuracy Prepare ad hoc analyses and presentations for finance and executive leadership Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 1–4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or construction/project‑based accounting Working knowledge of construction finance concepts such as job costing, WIP, backlog, and percent‑complete accounting Strong Excel skills; experience with Power BI , BICSI , ERP systems, or data visualization tools preferred Exposure to AI, automation, or advanced analytics tools is a plus Detail‑oriented, analytical, and able to communicate financial insights clearly #J-18808-Ljbffr IES Communications
