Cath Lab Tech in Opa Locka, FL

Exciting opportunity for a skilled Imaging Cath Lab Technician to contribute expertise in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization environment. This contract role is based in Opa Locka, FL, serving a 33-bed cardiac unit equipped with advanced technology including MacLab, GE, and Philips systems. Work alongside a dedicated team of 23 staff members focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cardiac cath lab procedures including interventional coronary, structural heart, peripheral interventions, and electrophysiology cases
• Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment such as MacLab, GE, Philips
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care with a 3:1 patient ratio
• Accurately document procedures using Meditech system
• Participate in call rotations covering evenings and weekends

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Radiology Technologist credentials required
• Proven ability to function independently and as a proactive team player
• Strong critical thinking skills and compassionate approach to patient care
