Job Description

A vehicle parts manufacturing company in Hodgenville, Kentucky is hiring a Production Supervisor. This position is responsible for leading a manufacturing team to safely produce high-quality automotive parts while meeting production schedules, customer requirements, and ISO 9001 quality standards. This position will involve driving employee performance, ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities :

• Lead, train, and coach production employees to meet safety, quality, and production goals
• Monitor daily production, productivity, and quality to ensure customer requirements are met
• Ensure compliance with company policies, work instructions, and ISO 9001 standards
• Respond to production issues, coordinate containment activities, and support root cause investigations
• Work closely with Quality and Maintenance to minimize downtime, improve efficiency, and reduce scrap
• Maintain accurate production and traceability records
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process changes

Qualifications and Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience (leadership or supervisory experience preferred)
• Experience leading, coaching, or training production employees
• Strong understanding of manufacturing safety and quality standards
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and support root cause investigations
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer and math skills
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening, including drug and background checks

The base salary range for this position is $27/hr, excluding benefits, bonuses or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
