FOOD SERVICE WORKER

US Air Mobility Command

About the position: This position is Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Child Development Center on Dover Air Force Base . As a FLEX employee, you may work anywhere between 0-40 hours per week, on an as needed basis. Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Applicants will be categorized by preference(s) and/or priority consideration eligibilities. An applicant's eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility MUST be provided with application by the closing date, 09/13/2026 Business Based Action, Military Spouse Preference, Outside Applicant Veteran, Spouse/Widow/Parent of Veteran, and Transition Hiring Preference In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: No previous experience is required. Must be at least 18 years of age, hold a high school diploma (or equivalent) and must speak, read and write English. Ability to read and understand written material and be able to follow simple oral instructions. Must be able to use hand tools for cleaning and operating simple machines. Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical, maintain current immunizations and be physically and behaviorally capable of performing the duties of the job. Must be able to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds, and occasionally over 20 pounds with assistance. Must be able to continuously stand, walk, stoop, reach, push and bend for long periods of time. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete ServSafe training. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). #J-18808-Ljbffr US Air Mobility Command
