CDL A Delivery Driver

This role is for a CDL A Delivery Driver delivering food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day. You’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you’ll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Location 11303 Antoine Dr, Houston, Texas 77066 Schedule Monday-Friday. Start time 3 AM-5 AM until route finish Pay and Total Rewards Drivers average $65,000 - $90,000/year Guaranteed minimum of $1,250/5 day week Daily base pay, plus component pay Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered Affordable benefits plans start day one Weekly pay Wellness reimbursement Profit sharing & 401(k) with company match 95% of leadership is hired from within GFS Stability – you’re guaranteed a route and paid weekly Responsibilities Build relationships with customers while delivering food products Unload cases up to 100 lbs and operate a ramp and two-wheeler Qualifications At least 21 years of age Class A CDL License at hire 1-2 years of driving experience Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds Ability to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the shift Read, write, and communicate in English Pass a drug test and background check Clean driving record as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards Must be registered with the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse Additional Information Gordon Food Service encourages veterans and active military members to apply.
