Job Type Full-time Position Description Geospatial Solutions Architect – Contingent Pipeline Opportunity – We’re building a talent pipeline for upcoming U.S. Government defense IT and analytics support roles. Opportunities are contingent upon task order awards and funding under existing contracts. Location Remote Responsibilities Design and implement geospatial solutions to support visualization, analysis, and decision-making Develop and maintain mapping services, spatial data pipelines, and operational dashboards Integrate geospatial data into cloud-based applications and platforms Build interactive maps and visualization tools for end users Perform spatial analysis, remote sensing, and support geospatial AI/ML applications Ensure data accuracy, performance, and scalability of geospatial solutions Collaborate with data, analytics, and engineering teams to align geospatial capabilities with mission needs Troubleshoot and optimize GIS applications and services Duties and responsibilities may change based on program needs Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, or related field OR five years of equivalent experience in geospatial architecture or GIS development Experience developing GIS solutions using tools such as ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms Experience integrating geospatial data into cloud-based applications Strong understanding of geospatial data formats, mapping services, and spatial analysis Experience performing spatial analysis, remote sensing, and supporting geospatial AI/ML applications Strong analytical and problem solving skills Desired Skills And Experience Experience supporting cloud-based geospatial architectures Experience with APIs and geospatial data services Experience supporting federal or regulated environments Experience integrating geospatial data with analytics or data platforms Certifications Required: None Preferred: ESRI technical certification, GIS Professional GISP Clearance Requirement Candidate must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
