Mammography Technologist

Role: Mammography Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily mammography, and preparing patients and equipment for exams. Responsibilities: Independently conduct imaging studies, including portable exams and on‑call procedures; provide quality control; and ensure patient comfort and safety. Qualifications: An associate or trade school diploma; certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, or RCES; and licensure (IEMA for Illinois). Preferred: less than 2 years of experience, CPR, and IV therapy certifications. Skills: Strong technical skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and cross‑training for bone density imaging. Key Duties: Prepare patients and equipment, perform diagnostic procedures, and maintain quality standards. No weekends, holidays, or call required, with eventual need to become a registered breast sonographer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
