Pump Repair/Electric Motor Assembly

Job Description

• Water test new assembled pumps, paint and crate completed pumps.
• Interpret measurements and resolve production issues with machinist and supervisor.
• Utilize your understanding of electric motors to assemble and troubleshoot pumps.
• Utilize your experience to evaluate pump motor assemblies that come in for repair.
• Utilize your experience to repair pump motor assemblies that come in for repair.
• Use simple stick welding to modify round bodied motors with rigid bases.
• Use manual drill press, radial arm drill and manual lathe to finish pump parts.
• Foster effective communication and cooperation with supervisors and co-workers.
• Adhere to quality standards. Promptly report any problems or damage.
• Maintain safe, clean working area. Return tools to proper place when not in use.
