As we upgrade to a new Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, we’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Clinical & Billing Operations Assistant to join our growing team. Position Summary: This is a dynamic support role designed to help bridge the transition between EMR platforms and ensure accurate and compliant billing. You’ll work closely with providers and our third-party billing company to cross-reference ICD-10 and CPT codes, identify and correct documentation discrepancies, and track billing statuses in Healthpac. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both clinical documentation and backend operations. Key Responsibilities: Cross-reference clinical notes, ICD-10, and CPT codes to ensure accuracy and billing compliance. Export patient visit data from the EMR into daily encounter reports for review. Assist in identifying and resolving coding discrepancies or missing documentation. Support EMR cleanup, code mapping, and workflow optimization during and after implementation. Track claims and EOBs in Healthpac and coordinate with third-party billing teams. Maintain organized documentation logs and audit trails. Qualifications: Basic knowledge of ICD-10, CPT coding, and healthcare billing (training provided). Familiarity with EMR systems and Excel strongly preferred. Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
