Location: Puget Sound Region, Coastal Washington State (serving Puyallup and Tacoma, WA)\n

Healthcare Organization: A national leader in pathology services, providing comprehensive anatomic and clinical pathology support across multiple hospitals and outreach clinics in the Puget Sound region\n
\n
Opportunity: Full-time Surgical Pathologist to join a collaborative group of 4–8 pathologists and three Pathologist Assistants, supporting a diverse hospital and outpatient case mix across two major regional medical centers\n

Details:

\n
\n
Sign out a broad range of surgical pathology cases
\n
\n
Interpret intraoperative frozen sections and cytology rapid on-site evaluations (ROSE)
\n
\n
Present at general and specialty tumor boards
\n
\n
Serve as CLIA Director for hospital laboratories
\n
\n
Participate in shared call coverage among all pathologists
\n
\n
AP/CP board certification required
\n
\n
Subspecialty training in GI/Liver, Hematopathology, or Cytopathology highly desired
\n
\n
3–5 years of experience preferred, though recently trained fellows will be considered
\n
