Mammographer 20 hrs weekends

Job Summary Part time 20 hours per week. Great for mothers. Saturday and Sunday 7:30am-6pm. Under the administrative direction of the Mammography Supervisor, the Mammographer performs screening mammography at a level of competence that does not require constant supervision and assumes responsibility for designated areas. Qualifications Effective communication skills and ability to build rapport with others. Proficiency in using computers and ability to quickly gain competency in various software applications, including hospital specific applications, Microsoft Office, cell phone, pager. Organizational skills to work in an efficient, orderly fashion. Maintain current CPR certification. Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology Training program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRC/ERT). Licensure with the Department of Public Health to practice Mammography in Massachusetts. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Mammography (ARRT). CPR Certification required. Preferred: One year of mammographer work experience. Position Details Site: North Shore Medical Center, Inc.
