We are seeking a Locums EmergencyMedicine Physician for coverage in Benton, Missouri. Thisopportunity is ideal for an experienced Emergency Medicine physician or aBoard-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician with EmergencyMedicine experience. Providers must be flexible to work days, nights, andweekends .

Position Highlights

• Locums Emergency Medicine

• Average ED Census: Approximately81 patients
• Annual ED Admissions: Approximately12%
• Highervolume of lower-acuity Level 4 and 5 patients
• ICUavailable for higher-acuity patients
• Allstandard Emergency Department procedures required

Clinical Environment

TheEmergency Department sees a broad range of presentations, with a higherpercentage of lower-acuity cases. The department also manages critically illpatients requiring advanced emergency interventions, including:

• Intubation
• Centralline placement
• Otherstandard emergency procedures
• Criticalcare stabilization and management
• ICU-levelpatient care

Support & Services

The facilityhas access to an ICU and provides emergency care in a setting withoutdedicated:

• Pediatricservices
• Plastics
• Neuro-interventionalradiology
• Cardiaccatheterization laboratory
• Obstetrics

Neurologyand psychiatric services are available to support patient care as needed.

Requirements

• BoardCertified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine , OR FM/IM with 3+years Emergency Medicine experience
• BoardCertified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience
• ATLS required
• ACLS required
• PALS required
• Active Missourimedical license
