Sr. Cyber Security Manager GDIT is seeking a creative and driven professional to support DTRA’s Defense Stockpile Management Support (DSMS) Contract. The role leads the Cyber Security Team (CST) ensuring collaborative progress toward cyber and information security goals. Responsibilities include overseeing service delivery, managing customer relationships, and addressing any issues within the area of expertise. The candidate will build and manage Cyber Security solutions that enable customers to innovate using zero‑trust best practices and solve complex government, defense, and intelligence challenges. The Sr. Cyber Security Manager will lead technical and solution relationships with customers, own the DSMS Cyber portfolio of high‑visibility solutions focused on Cyber Security, Zero Trust, and Cloud Cyber Architecture. Responsibilities Communicate the value of information technology security across all organizational levels. Advise senior leadership on changes affecting cybersecurity posture, including risk level adjustments. Co‑ordinate and execute cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews as part of a geographically dispersed team. Prepare, distribute, and maintain plans, instructions, guidance, and SOPs concerning operational environment security. Communicate security and compliance issues to government leaders and cybersecurity staff effectively. Provide status reports to stakeholders and government personnel on cybersecurity metrics, results, key risk indicators, and compliance trends. Oversee policy standards and implementation strategies to ensure procedures comply with cybersecurity policies. Ensure successful implementation of security requirements and information policies that align with security baselines. Guide the cybersecurity team on approved remediation actions to maintain compliance with policy, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Align IT security priorities with the cybersecurity strategy, interpreting or approving requirements relative to new information technologies. Assist in oversight of information security budget, staffing, and contracting objectives. Engage current and prospective customers (CIOs, AO, CSSP, program executives, etc.) to build trust, communicate solutions, and influence action. Deliver and architect modernized Cyber Security platforms (Splunk, PaloAlto, etc.) and cloud‑based security platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.). Qualifications Active Top Secret/SCI clearance. U.S. citizenship required. 5+ years of related experience. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. IAM Level III certification (CISSP, CISM, or GSLC). Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF). Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS). Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity principles, methods, and techniques. Preferred Qualifications Personnel management experience with up to 10 people. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Strong communication skills in one‑on‑one, team, and senior‑management settings. Benefits Salary range: $187,000 – $253,000 (varies by experience, location, and contractual requirements).
