Physical Therapist

A leading healthcare facility located in Glenwood Springs, CO, is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to join their team. This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide care covering a leave of absence.

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans for a range of diagnoses.
• Implement appropriate therapeutic interventions to enhance patients’ strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and overall function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs to facilitate progress and recovery.

Schedule

The therapist will work a 40-hour week with a schedule of four 10-hour days. Holiday coverage will be required.

Housing Opportunity

Newly remodeled studio apartments are available for rent near the facility. These fully furnished accommodations include Wi-Fi, utilities, and access to an on-site laundry room. Pets are not permitted, and no deposit is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current Colorado PT licensure or compact license valid for Colorado.
• A minimum of two years of physical therapy experience; three to five years is preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Compliance with flu vaccination policy, which is mandatory during the season.
