Field Sales Representative
Everforth Apex Systems is hiring for an exciting Field Sales Representative opportunity in New Jersey, where you'll play a key role in transforming the grocery shopping experience. If you love connecting with people, showing off cool tech, and working independently in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you.
As a Field Sales Representative, you'll be the friendly face introducing shoppers to smart cart technology engaging customers in-store, demonstrating how the carts work, and driving adoption of an innovative product reshaping retail.
Contract Length: 3 months, with potential to extend
Schedule: Thursday-Monday, 10 AM-6 PM or 11 AM-7 PM
Travel: Up to 90% within assigned market
You'll rotate between two stores, assigned from the locations below:
- 127 Water St, Newton, NJ 07860
- 75 US-46, Netcong, NJ 07857
- 281 NJ-10, Roxbury Twp, NJ 07876
- 1965 Route 57 W, Hackettstown, NJ 07840
- 90 Bartley Flanders Rd, Flanders, NJ 07836
Day-to-day, you'll:
- Drive customer acquisition Engage shoppers with live demos that highlight the features and benefits of smart carts.
- Adapt your approach Tailor sales tactics based on store environment and real-time customer feedback.
- Build relationships Partner with store personnel and serve as a brand ambassador for the product.
- Report and refine Share regular insights on customer interactions and ideas for boosting engagement.
- Hit your goals Meet and exceed daily and weekly user acquisition targets.
What We're Looking For
Experience:
- Proven background in direct sales (retail experience preferred)
- Availability for a ThursdayMonday schedule, including weekends
- Willingness to travel within the market (up to 90%)
Technical Skills:
- Comfortable demonstrating and troubleshooting smart cart technology
- Familiar with collaboration tools like Slack and Google Suite
Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Resilient, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Curious and solution-oriented, with a genuine focus on understanding customer needs
