Receiving Clerk Full-Time Great Temp to Hire Opportunity! 1st Shift Monday to Friday 07:00 AM to 04:00 PM (available for overtime if needed) Pay rate: $23/hour Get paid every Friday! The Receiving Clerk will be responsible for the accurate receipt, inspection, storage, and organization of incoming materials and products. This role ensures all incoming shipments are properly verified, scanned, documented, and stocked in the correct locations while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified Candidate Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documentation
• Load and unload trucks as part of daily receiving operations
• Identify and report discrepancies such as damaged, missing, or incorrect materials
• Scan and record merchandise into inventory systems for accurate tracking
• Stock and organize materials in designated warehouse locations
• Reconcile receiving slips against physical inventory for accuracy
• Maintain accurate receiving records and documentation
• Support inventory control and warehouse organization
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits as needed
• Maintain clean and safe warehouse conditions following safety standards

Requirements

• Sit-down forklift experience required
• Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, or logistics environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to read and follow receiving documentation (packing slips, purchase orders, etc.)
• Basic computer skills and experience with scanning or inventory systems preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
• Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic
