A specialty pharmacy in Pennsylvania is seeking a skilled PRN Staff Pharmacist to provide flexible coverage with scheduled notice. This role suits pharmacists aiming to supplement their work hours within a supportive, family-oriented environment.

Location: Upper Darby, PA
Job Type: Per Diem / PRN Coverage
Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescription accuracy and ensure patient safety
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations with pharmacist leadership
• Manage and support the pharmacy technician team
• Provide patient counseling as needed
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license in good standing, no negative history
• Minimum of 2 years recent retail staff pharmacist experience
• Comfortable working in a busy independent and specialty pharmacy setting
• Demonstrated experience supervising pharmacy technicians
• Experience with PioneerRx is advantageous

• Pharmacist
• 1 Pharmacy Technician

This ongoing PRN assignment offers advance scheduling notice when possible, typically providing 1 to 2 months’ heads-up for coverage dates. Immediate availability for coverage on October 12, 13, and 16 is urgent, with the potential for ongoing needs.
