Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance MechanicMaintenance Mechanic is responsible for setting up, adjusting and maintaining assigned equipment within an area. Maintenance Mechanics are expected to use a continuous improvement mentality and work to perpetuate a "Creekstone Proud" culture through attitude and actions.Essential Functions:Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and tests equipment to verify functionalityMakes necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum quality productionReview production schedule and when equipment is not scheduled for manufacturing, changes over equipment to new sizes or performs scheduled maintenanceClears jams and sets aside product for inspection/reworkDevelop and promote positive working relationships with Operations, QA, and all othersExamines, tests, and measures product from assigned equipment for quality specificationsMakes preventive maintenance check and inspection of assigned equipment, reports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate actionAnalyzes and documents cause of production delays on daily production reportNotifies maintenance department or supervisor of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken, and of quality problems or supplies needed.Contribute to a positive, safe and clean work environment by taking initiative and being an exampleAll other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Organizational and time management skillsAbility to present ideas, concepts, issues, concerns, and question in a well though out, positive, and professional mannerAbility to foster an atmosphere of teamwork and respectClear communication skills – verbally and in written formAbility to focus on the details of an issueAbility to take direction humbly and collaborate in order to define and pursue team goalsA positive outlook and attitude in taking initiative and problem solving, unpromptedQualifications:Previous manufacturing maintenance experience preferredCreekstone Farms Premium Beef LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer
