We are committed to supply chain excellence that scales with Roku’s rapid growth and global reach.About the role We are seeking an experienced individual to lead strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier management for our hardware consumer electronics category. This role is pivotal in optimizing our supply chain operations by developing and executing procurement strategies that ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery of electronic components and finished goods. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Legal—to support new product development and manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle.For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $185,000 - $230,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.What you’ll be doingDevelop, implement, and manage global sourcing strategies for hardware components, including System-on-Chip (SOC), memory, and other semiconductors, as well as manufacturing services, including CM, ODM, and JDM partnershipsIdentify and qualify new suppliers; manage supplier relationships to ensure performance on cost, quality, lead time, and capacityLead RFI/RFQ/RFP processes and cost negotiationsLead contract negotiations, including NDAs, MDSA, SOWs, and other supply agreementsPartner with Product and Engineering throughout the Product Development Process (PDP, ensuring sourcing is aligned with technical and timeline requirementsSupport design-to-cost decisions during development and cost initiatives for sustaining programsAnalyze cost drivers and market trends to improve pricing and reduce the total cost of ownership (TCO). Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies like alternative second sourcing, buffer stocks, or redesignsEnsure accurate BOM cost roll-ups and reporting of pricing dataUse data to drive decisions and continuously improve procurement efficiencyWe’re excited if you haveBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred)8+ years of experience in hardware procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within the consumer electronics or high-tech industryStrong understanding of components sourcing and semiconductor supply chainExperience in a tech start-up or scaling a hardware companyExperience in executive reporting, including preparing and presenting supplier strategy, risk, and cost updates to senior leadershipA proven track record supporting Product Development Process (PDP) and managing procurement during New Product Introduction (NPI) phasesExperience working with CMs/ODMs and international suppliersStrong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skills#LI-DH2What's Roku's approach to hybrid working?Roku fosters an inclusive and collaborative environment where teams generally work in the office Monday through Thursday.
