Local CDL Driver

Overview

As a CDL Driver , you'll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!


Hourly Pay:

$24.00/hr

Shift(s):

Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM

Location:

Fayetteville, AR

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles making about 2-3 routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53' truck/dry van for 10-12-hour shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a vehicle cab for entire shifts of varying lengths in time

• The noise level in the work environment depends on location

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
