ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on, guest-facing role that's perfect for someone who loves helping others and thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment. As a Sales Associate, you'll play a key role in delivering the Nell Hill's experience to every guest who walks through our doors - helping them find décor they love, maintaining a beautiful and organized store, and contributing to a welcoming, design-forward atmosphere.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Customer Service & Sales

• Greet and assist guests with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Provide knowledgeable product recommendations and design inspiration
• Communicate product details, promotions, and policies clearly to guests
• Process purchases and returns at the register with accuracy and care
• Work collaboratively to meet daily and weekly sales goals 
• Execute brand standards to ensure a consistent and elevated guest experience

Store Maintenance & Visual Standards

• Help maintain a visually inspiring and organized boutique environment
• Support merchandising, restocking, and display upkeep on the sales floor
• Restock merchandise and keep displays well-presented throughout your shift
• Assist with tagging, product placement, and inventory labeling as needed

Operational Support

• Assist in opening and closing duties as needed, including registers
• Support light inventory tasks, including organizing and restocking returned items
• Communicate stock issues, damages, or guest needs to leadership
• Support store events, promotions, and seasonal needs as they arise
• Complete other tasks a assigned by store leadership

Store Hours: Monday–Saturday 10AM–6PM | Sunday 12PM–5PM

WHO YOU ARE

• Friendly, approachable, and confident interacting with guests
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility - you take ownership without being managed closely
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking in a busy environment
• A team player who genuinely enjoys contributing to a collaborative, close-knit team
• Passionate about home décor, design, and retail
• Available for weekend hours (required)
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
• Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs regularly, without assistance
• Adaptable to a retail environment with frequent guest interaction and task-switching
