Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month

Annual Salary Pay: $75,000-$90,000 per year based on experience.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. with flexibility to work additional hours depending on the business needs.

Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred

Experience with Food Grade preferred

Experience with SQF and/or HACCP preferred

SUMMARY Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Quality Management System on accounts of diverse scope and magnitude including adherence to company and industry standards. Provides regular and proactive communication to customers and Ryder management. Supports continuous improvement efforts as needed

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Designs, implements, maintains and audits the Quality Management System based on established company and/or industry standards. Implements a standardized corrective action systemReports the effectiveness of the Quality Management System at regular management meetingsSupports regulatory compliance and certification requirementsAssists in implementing and maintaining Customer Satisfaction Management ProcessPerforms all functions related to Quality Assurance for a start-up or expansionEngage the operations team and the customer to ensure achievement of business objectivesSupports Continuous Improvement deployment using fundamentals of Lean and Six SigmaProvide training on Quality Assurance topics to identified employeesWorks on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factorsApplies judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

EDUCATION Bachelor's degree Business/Engineering/Supply Chain or minimum of 8 years of related work experience.

EXPERIENCE Seven (7) years or more experience Operational ManagementFive (5) years or more experience Quality Management/Process Improvement

KNOWLEDGE MS Office; advanced level.MS Project Internal Audit/Corrective Action Systems software (e.g. JKT); advanced level; preferred.Process Mapping and Standard Operating Procedures documentation and Project Management; advanced level; preferred.

LICENSES Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (1 Year, preferred).Other ASQ's Certified Quality Auditor (1 Year, preferred).

TRAVEL 1-10%
