Clinical ManagerLocation: Gig Harbor, Federal Way, and Tacoma Salary: $110,000 - $151,360 annually. We prioritize work-life balance for our staff and support continuous professional development.About The Position: The Clinical Manager is responsible for managing daily clinic operations to deliver safe, high-quality care. This role fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while aligning clinical operations with organizational goals. This role partners closely with leadership to drive operational efficiency, staffing optimization and adherence to quality and compliance standards.Core ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team ManagementProvide direct supervision, coaching and development of staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, and front office teamLead recruitment, onboarding, training and retention efforts to build a strong, engaged teamConduct performance evaluations and support professional developmentFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and patient-centered careConduct regular staff meetings, rounding, and engagement initiativesServes as Safety Committee Chair, participates in practice meetings and workgroups as neededClinical OperationsOversee day-to-day clinical workflows to ensure efficiency and high-quality care deliveryMonitor staffing levels, scheduling, and productivity to meet patient demandPartner with providers and interdisciplinary teams to improve care coordinationPromotes exceptional customer service and patient-centered careResolves patient concerns and complaints promptly and professionallyManages clinical equipment and medication orderingIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance patient experience and throughputServes as a clinical resource for complex patient care situations and triage decisionsCollaborate with the Director of Clinical Operations on strategic planning and implementation of practice initiativesQuality & ComplianceEnsure adherence to evidence-based pediatric guidelines, clinical standards of care, policies, and regulatory requirementsLead quality improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and implement best practices.Support audits, compliance and risk management activitiesPromote a culture of safety and continuous quality improvementInvestigate and resolve clinical incidents, ensuring appropriate documentation and follow-upMaintains readiness for medical emergencies and oversees emergency protocolsEnsures clinical compliance including, but not limited to, OSHA, hazardous materials, material data safety sheets, blood borne pathogens, exposure control plan fire safety and disaster preparedness.Administrative OversightManage departmental budgets, including labor, supplies and medication ordersMonitor productivity and implement cost-control strategies while maintaining quality of careSupport strategic planning and execution of departmental and organizational initiativesEnsure accurate documentation, reporting and data integrityConducts regular visits to all office locations to engage with staff, fostering in-person communication and connectionKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesClinical nursing practices, standards of care, and evidence-based guidelinesHealthcare regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., state nursing laws, accreditation standards)Quality improvement methodologies and patient safety principlesHealthcare operations, including staffing models and workflow optimizationElectronic Health Records (EHR) systems and clinical documentation standardsInfection control practices and risk management principlesStrong leadership and team management skills, including coaching and performance managementEffective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholdersCritical thinking and clinical decision-making skillsConflict resolution and problem-solving abilitiesTime management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environmentData analysis and ability to interpret quality and operational metricsChange management and process improvement skillsAbility to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team toward shared goalsAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing clinical and operational needsAbility to make sound decisions under pressure while maintaining patient safety and staff supportAbility to build strong relationships with providers, staff, and leadershipAbility to identify gaps, drive improvements, and implement sustainable solutionsAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgmentAbility to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementEducation and ExperienceActive Registered Nurse (RN) licenseBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required;
