The systems and solutions span across different disciplines and technologies to performrealtimemulti-objectiveoptimization with distributed systems at large scale and low latencies. We use Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, AI, Control and OptimizationSystemsand Auction Dynamics to solve a large set of complex problems. At the core of this is our Machine Learning, Experimentationand Inference Platform that powers the entire landscapewhich we continuously evolve over time.About the roleIn this role you willwork on applying SOTA researchandconduct your own researchtodevelop novel methodologies tosolve alarge varietyof challengingproblemsinAdvertisingrelated to conversion modelingaligned with attribution methodologies/models,calibration,dynamic creative generation and optimization,forecasting and timeseries modeling,yield and margin optimizationand Experimentationfor A/B and multivariate testing.We’relooking for a strong technical leader witha solid grasp of core statistical techniques anddeep experience inSOTA Deep Learningdiscriminativeand generative models.What you’ll be doingApplying research and conducting your own research to build SOTA Deep learning discriminative modelsStay at the forefront of advancements in related areasWe’re excited if you havePhD in a quantitative discipline such as CS, Statistics, Applied Math or a related field8+ years of experience in applied research using statistical and deep learning techniquesPublished paper(s) on deep learning models for Advertising or related areasExcellent communication and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in the Advertising domainContributions to open-source ML projects #LI-DH2What's Roku's approach to hybrid working?Roku fosters an inclusive and collaborative environment where teams generally work in the office Monday through Thursday.
