Project Manager

Role: Graphic Designer & Project Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Roanoke, VA Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer & Project Manager with direct sign shop experience to design interior and exterior signage and manage client‑facing project coordination. This role involves working closely with customers and project managers to develop signage concepts, prepare proofs, manage revisions, and ensure accurate production‑ready files. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, attention to detail, and experience in signage production environments. Key Responsibilities Design interior and exterior signage based on customer specifications and project requirements Create and revise design proofs based on client feedback and approval cycles Collaborate with project managers to support client needs and project execution Communicate directly with customers regarding design concepts, revisions, and approvals Ensure accuracy of color management, file formats, and production‑ready artwork Conduct or support site walkthroughs for signage planning and verification Maintain organized project files and design documentation Ensure all designs meet production and installation requirements Work within an industry‑specific design platform similar to Adobe Illustrator/CorelDRAW Required Qualifications 3+ years of graphic design experience (REQUIRED) Must have sign shop or signage industry experience (MANDATORY) Strong experience in designing interior and exterior signage Proficiency in color management and production‑ready file preparation Ability to read and interpret blueprints and installation drawings Experience working directly with clients on design revisions and approvals Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design projects Proficiency with design software (AI/CorelDRAW or similar tools) Strong communication and collaboration skills Benefits Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off, Flexible Schedule #J-18808-Ljbffr
