Communicate with the site director, administration, fellow teachers, service staff, parents, and guardians. Write appropriate and targeted student progress reports. Adapt your area of expertise to meet student learning needs. Work with parents and other community members to address students' learning needs. Prepare, implement, and record daily lessons. Share talents and skills to enhance the student's school program. Be alert to individual student learning styles. Attend and participate in parent conferences and IEP meetings; provide instruction by developing, selecting, and modifying instructional plans and material using techniques that meet the needs of all students. Required Skills & Experience Commitment to the success of each and every student. Teaching experience in a public or private school, preferably in an urban setting. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member. Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse children and families. Associates degree or higher in early childhood education, or enrolled in a program leading to a Child Development Associate (CDA) with intentions of graduating with a Bachelor's degree within four years.
