Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a school paraprofessional or similar direct student support role
• Familiarity with ESY (Extended School Year) programming and services is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff
• Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic classroom environment and shifting schedules
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• High school diploma or GED required; relevant certifications or additional training are beneficial

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct classroom assistance to teachers and support individualized student learning needs
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment for students participating in ESY programs
• Assist in delivering instructional materials, managing classroom routines, and supporting student engagement
• Support behavioral and social-emotional goals as directed by teaching and administrative staff
• Supervise students during transitions, activities, and breaks to ensure safety and positive interactions
• Communicate effectively with staff to reinforce student progress and share observations
