Finance Specialist - Accounting Finance Specialist - Accounting at ABB Installation Products Inc. (Albuquerque, New Mexico). Reports to: Senior Business Controller. Responsibilities Identify issues and suggest improvements for finance and accounting teams. Perform account analyses, reconciliations, journal entries, inventory checks, and balance sheet reviews. Assist with preparing financial reports, business plans, budgets, forecasts, and presentations. Ensure financial compliance reporting with monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews. Monitor and report on capital expenditures and fixed assets. Maintain proper audit trails and documentation for audits and communicate key information to stakeholders to support corrective actions. Assist with approving productivity by developing automated solutions, reducing duplication, and coordinating information. Ensure timely invoice processing and accurate reporting of payments. Establish processes and tools to ensure reliable financial data and business information. Qualifications Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a related field. 1 year of experience in an accounting or financial analyst role. 1 year of experience in each of the following: Using computerized accounting systems and financial reporting software, including Oracle, SAP, ERP or related systems. Using Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, graphs, conditional formatting, and data validation. Analyzing reports and communicating performance trends to stakeholders to inform decision‑making. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
